Valentines’ Day Dinner

The inspiration behind this gorgeous Valentines’ Day table was Puccini’s Madame Butterfly opera – with red paper butterflies providing the focus of attention! Peach & Violet compote

In the middle of winter when it’s grey and gloomy outside, a colorful little posy can work wonders for lifting the spirits.  For a February birthday, we combined peach and violet to give this vibrant show of color, and set it in a gorgeous pressed glass compote for a vintage yet up-to-the-minute look.
