It’s hard to think of a more perfect backdrop for a Picture Party than the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. With the architectural lines of Day and Mershon Halls in the background and Dale Chihuly’s glass masterpiece in the center, the Levy Parterre adds style and grace to any social gathering! We decided to add a pop of color with our centerpieces – red and lavender tulips offset against the pale chartreuse of mini green hydrangeas. Nestled into heavy barnwood boxes over a carpet of moss, branches of pussy willow added height and texture to the arrangements. The color scheme was also reflected in the linens - lavender pintuck taffeta cinched in with wide red sashes. Outside on the terrace, highboys provided an anchor spot for guests to put down their drinks as they grabbed their cameras. Inside, a sociable space was created around the bar with a combination of highboy tables and seated rounds. And on the walls, the bright tulip artwork which had provided one of the inspirations for the centerpieces!
